The Hotel
Luna's building was originally used as a convent, and was founded
by St. Francis of Assisi in 1222. It was then turned into a luxurious
hotel, and has been managed by the Barbaro family since 1822.
The Hotel Luna features: an ancient cloister, private chapel, terrace
overlooking the sea, and garden. 40 rooms and 8 suites, 2 scenic
restaurants, and a convention hall. There was an additional tower
built in 1564 overlooking the sea, it now features a solarium, a
pool, a bar, and a restaurant.
